finally broke her silence on issues
regarding her decision to leave the
management team of Becky Aguila.
In a television interview, Angel said
she doesn't want to create news out of
it and tried to keep mum on the issue.
“
Ayaw ko lang i-highlight yung news
kasi sa amin eh hindi naman issue, ayaw
din namin maging issue sa iba, nag good
luck pa sya sa akin sa project na to,”
she said.
Angel added that there was no tension
between her and Aguila. “Napagusapan
na po namin and ang tagal na din po
naming inaayos, pero naghahanap lang po
kami ng proper time.”
The actress said she will forever be
grateful for Aguila's help especially in
her professional career.
“Sa kanya ako nagsimula, hindi naman
ako makakapasok sa showbiz kung hindi
dahil sa kanya.”
Days before the statement made by Angel,
news circulated that the King of Talk
Boy Abunda will handle her.
In the same show that aired the
interview of Angel, Abunda confirmed
that he is not the new manager of Angel
and doesn't have any liberty to announce
who will handle the actress.
“During the press conference of the
newest endorsement of Angel, the actress finally announced
her new manager.
Angel from now on will be under the
supervision of talent manager Ethel
Ramos who is also handling Aga Muhlach.
But Angel was still mum on projects
lined up for her by Ramos. She said
though that she is happy with her new
handler.
